Hellfire Fried Chicken

NecroCraft is my submission game i made as a solo developer for Boss Rush Jam 2023 "MakeShift". You begin as a simple character with classes such as a chicken farmer or moonshine brewer, who accidentally made a pact in the crossroads with a necromancer. As you begin your journey as his apprentice, you open a portal to the gates of hell, and in the process you kinda lose your tutor, when your tutor is lost to the demonic deity from the portal. 

You didn't get to know any useful spells, so you need to craft spells on the fly and come up with a plan to defeat the deities on your journey down to the fiery planes of hell.

The game is 3rd person action game with inspirations from games like Dark Souls. The restrictions the game jam gave, is that there mustn't be a lot of exploration between the bosses, so you gather your resources while battling and evading the bosses. 

The game features a spellcrafting system as it's gimmick, that you must use with your imagination. How about summoning.. chickens? How are these chickens gonna help you defeat the fiery deities of Phlegethon? Or how would freezing all the stones gonna help you cross the river of Styx?
