Day 4 / 6: Artstyle, laziness, planks
Crab Box » Devlog

Yes.
I did close to nothing today.
I fixed some weird shader bugs and tweaked the general outlook a bit. Modeled a plank, because that texture was not quite fitting, at least for me. Did some graphical experiments & tweaks, and i could spend the rest of the jam doing this, but i seriously need to stop it.
What the game is still lacking:
- Sound effects
- Game Logic
- Dialogs
- Props
- Proper gameplay design
- Night sky from the time/day cycle (this should have been done by far with this much time dedicated for experimenting with style ":D")
- Animations (but i'm a Mixamo-fanboy, so propably gonna use Mixamo animations, no big deal here - saving time was the reason i chose it)
Realistically, i could spend the last 48 hours doing something that can resemble a game, but nothing close to original plans. Too bad, i always concentrate on the wrong things and can't keep to scope in line. Let's see what i can come up with gameplay-wise.
